To get information on the childcare services and how to register in the Lyngby-Taarbæk municipality, you need to contact its placement service (pladsanvisningen)

Even if you are not moving to the municipality, it is possible to send a request for a childcare placement.
The placement service can help you with the registration of a childcare placement if you have not received your Danish CPR (Central Person Register) yet. You can contact the placement service here: pladsanvisning@ltk.dk, and they will inform you which informations they need from you.
If you have received your CPR and your NemID, you can enter your registration for childcare online.
The sooner you register your child the better the chance of obtaining a placement for your child within the time frame that you need. We recommend you to contact the placement service. Some daycare facilities have longer waiting lists than others which is why it is recommend that you contact the placement service
We recommend that you contact and visit several daycare facilities before you register your child for a placement. It is a good way for you to select the daycare facility that suits you and your child the best. Furthermore, not all daycare facilities have employees who speak English.
