Childcare

Even if you are not moving to the municipality, it is possible to send a request for a childcare. 

The placement service can help you register for childcare if you have not yet received your Danish CPR number. You can contact the placement service, and they will inform you which informations they need from you.

If you have received your CPR and your NemID, you can enter your registration for childcare online.

To increase your chances of securing a place at the time you need it, we recommend registering your child as early as possible. We recommend you to contact the placement service. Some daycares/kindergartens have longer waiting lists than others, which is why it is recommend that you contact the placement service

We recommend that you contact and visit several daycares/kindergartens before you register your child on the waiting lists. It is a good way for you to select the daycare/kindergarten that suits you and your child the best. Furthermore, not all daycares/kindergartens have employees who speak English.
