The international upper primary track is part of an ambition to provide a good offer for students with a particular interest in an international profile. Thus including Danish and foreign expat families. Since there is a growing number of families in the municipality, where the primary language spoken at home is not danish, Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune wish to create a sound shool alternative, where the language spoken at school will primarily be english.

This is supposed to make it possible to take part in the danish society through the Folkeskole-system, while still maintaining an international education during the last three years of primaryschool.

With the new upper primary track, Lyngby-Taarbæk Kommune aims to support the municipality's profile as a city of knowledge and education and to increase enrollment in the municipality's public schools.

We therefore invite all 6th-grade students and their parents to an information meeting on December 11th from 17:00 to 18:30 at Lindegårdsskolen, staff room on the 1st floor.
