There are many great options for a good run throughout the municipality.
One of the routes is a 7 km running trail that crosses DTU in Lundtofte.
In collaboration with DTU, Novozymes, the LIFE Foundation, and DGI, we have connected Lyngby Idrætsby to the existing running route at DTU, with an additional link to a new route around Novozymes at Dyrehavegårds Jorde. The route is marked with signs and can also be seen in the image below.

Along the running route, you can stop at the fitness circuit by Novonesis described above, or work out using the outdoor exercise machines located at DTU (see the location marked by the blue dot in the image above).
On the path along Trongårdsskolen towards Novozymes, you will find colorful relay lines showing how fast five selected animals run over distances of 80m, 160m, 240m, and 320m.

By Lyngby Lake, close to Havnehytten, you will find a small outdoor fitness area where you can do simple exercises in the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. At the fitness area, you will find instructions on how to use the different equipment for various exercises. In addition to functioning as fitness equipment, the installations can also be used as playground equipment.
